I’m 80% of the way through God Emperor of Dune and got to say I’m disappointed that a significant portion is Frank Herbert portraying homosexuality as inherently sadomasochistic and an existential selfish threat to humanity. Even more disturbed this is a lot of people’s favorite in the series.
