Waiting for Guffman, the greatest movie of all time. I’ve probably watched it 100 times over the last 27 years. Never gets old.

Looks to me like my 10-year old’s dream of playing for the Gophers might be back in play! 😬

And Sudeikis with the WNBA love. These two are keepers. ❤️

The original policy language explicitly listed the Confederate flag among banned hate items and the new language does not. My guess is this was the real mission of this policy update. So pathetic.

To be fair, leaving any Minnesota sports team usually does the trick.

And that’s not even healthcare, that’s healthcare gatekeeping. In what other industry do you increase profits by providing worse service to your customers?

Bully for you! I’ll allow you to do your own Google search. It isn’t hard; he spoke on it this week. I’m not a puritan when it comes to politics, but I also don’t need to endorse a potential candidate who turns on trans girls for political expediency. Sorry if you thought he was the only option.

How about him ruthlessly slandering the tiny population of trans girls who dare to want to play sports? That doesn’t count as derogatory? Forcing children to miss out on life’s opportunities because they are transgender is bullshit. Full fucking stop. Pure politics over principles, and it sucks.

I don’t think anybody has any idea what the fuck you were actually trying to say. You responded to a post about someone’s injury by saying it’s hard to believe anything about wrestling because it is fake. So what was your point?

You think dancers and gymnasts can’t suffer legitimate injuries because they’re performing choreography?

That has certainly been the model to date. I’ve watched the Mayo system bleed out small town hospitals and clinics in MN after watching the Partners system do the same in MA. It’s scary to think how much worse it’s going to get for folks in rural America.

Yep. Until the hospitals hemorrhage so much money that they close and then nobody gets care. They’re crippling our medical system from every direction. No research, no insurance, no public health guidance, no reproductive healthcare, no vaccination coverage. We are about to be in real pain.

And I for you! wish everyone had what we have ❤️

I miss going to ALA so much!! My dad was a public library director in Minnesota for 37 years so many of our family vacations included ALA conventions. I lived for all that book swag!! 📚✨

Setting aside that you are citing People magazine, did you actually read the article you posted? It specifically says that all she was convicted of was hindering the investigation. Continue to blame an abuse victim for the behavior of her abuser though, it’s super cool.

So you don’t know that actual story at all, huh? I highly recommend listening to the ‘You’re Wrong About’ podcast episode about it, if it’s something you want to learn more about. Or don’t. But Tonya Harding and Riley Gaines are not equivalent in the slightest.
June 10, 2025 at 12:13 PM
Except Tonya Harding was an actual victim, unlike Riley Gaines. And way more talented.
