Not disputing the concept that is presented, but do functional people really believe that 92% of the population lives in NYC, TX, and CA? That makes no sense at all. Who are these people?

If you're as old as I am (70), you remember just showing up at the airport, walking across the tarmac, and up the steps to the plane.

I was just in China. What gas cars? I can't remember seeing one. Just lots and lots and LOTS of power lines.

Three Dem reps have died so far this year, all 70 or above. Raul Grijalva was plenty progressive even though older, but it points to a very geriatric group, might be time for some newer blood.

I found the Linux app to be quite usable. And more importantly, it was the only portal into China for most people. That was big.

Have lived near you for years and didn't know you were there. See you soon!

If I recall correctly, when Biden could no longer function in 2024, the DNC anointed Harris, rendering the choice of a candidate a foregone conclusion.

Democracy begins with voters having a say, not the party. Calling yourselves "Democrats" doesn't automatically make you democratic.

If I recall correctly, the DNC did everything they could to head off Sanders in the 2020 primary and supporting an aging Biden.

If I recall correctly, the DNC did everything they could to support an aging Biden in the 2024 primary in spite of calls for him to step down ant falling poll numbers.

If I recall correctly, the DNC anointed Hillary in the 2016 primary, and dissuaded others from running (including Biden when he was young enough to be effective), rendering the primary a foregone conclusion.

Portraying him as a monkey denigrates monkeys. Mice and rats show empathy. So.... Maybe a lizard. Can someone please make an orange lizard pic?

I think she means that DOGE is getting the Info. And it seems like it's as easy as walking in and taking over.

The one with all four is lovely. Nice family you have there.

The Guardian has a strong US presence; excellent reporting and some investigative journalism.

Thanks for reminding us how ineffective the Dems have been (save for a notable few) these past many years, and why we're in this pickle at all. Please please please resign ASAP.
February 20, 2025 at 6:14 AM
And since the Democratic party is doing nothing about it, you are all complicit. (Apologies to the 10 or so that ARE standing up).

Amazon! Publix if you're in the south. Home Depot. Too many to list. Make it permanent and shop local.

Every time he posts about how normal things are, he gets ridiculed. Yet he continues. It must be a cry for help. Adam: blink once If they've threatened your safety, twice if it's your family, three times if they have dirt on you. Either way, please resign so someone can be appointed to replace you.

He is neither. He is smart enough to know that if he repeats it often enough, and with an air of authority, many people will believe it.

I think in general most reporters are oriented toward the truth. They usually chose their career based on that. It's the editors and overlords that control the narrative. I hope this reporter keeps their job.

Rats are gentle, cheerful, and very social animals. Comparing them to RFK Jr is unfair. 🙂

A big thanks to the reporters. But as far as a paper goes, it's not just the questionable priorities and sane washing, it's that the owner is beholden to a dictator to save his other businesses. That compromises the entire operation. We need independent journalism, not a quasi-state run enterprise.

Sharing power is not his strong suit, and I can't imagine Musk being subservient, or even in the background. I think the question is: what names will Donald call them when he's done with them?
