Claude Code is a very good experience. Forget about the model not being as reliable as GPT-5, you can tell that this was an internal tool they were using for a long time before AI IDE tools became a thing.

Today I decided to attempt completing a ticket with just prompting and zero typing. Gemini 2.5 Pro is insanely good because everything compiled correctly and worked as expected.

What skills should people acquire early in their careers that will last a lifetime, regardless of whether the skill is technical or not?
Technical: master the basic UNIX tools. awk, cut, sort, find, vim, tr. Non-technical: Invest in deeply understanding what empathy is and how to apply it.

GPT-4o just keeps making stuff up. Legit even quoted a whole language proposal number as a source only for me to double check and it’s just straight bs. It’s crazy.
