Thoroughly enjoying RAVENSCOURT by @samwardsmithwriter.bsky.social - a gripping historical mystery set in Venice, 1880. Sam is a historian herself, and she does an incredible job at "world building." And who wouldn't want to step into Venice in the late 19th century?
Sam's book propped up against a taxidermy crow and a Venice plague mask, as well as a fake skull.
