We had Sonic 1 and it was good (also got stolen along with the rest of our Genesis games at the time when our car got broken into), but Sonic the Hedgehog 2 really was the Peak Sonic of my childhood. Also one of the first games I ever beat!

The 7th Guest, which my older brother bought for PC, a horror/puzzle game about investigating the haunted house of a creepy dollmaker. I remember watching him play it, and it freaked me tf out. Especially whenever you quit the game, you'd be treated to audio of a guy screaming "COME BAAAAAAAAAACK!"
