It's nearly impossible to have genuine spiritual experiences from a perspective of hate or fear. Sinking deeply into the archetype of the Lover is a requirement for feeling the flow of energy that's all around you.

Every major spiritual tradition in the world speaks of letting go of desire, specifically the desire for our perspective on the world to be the correct one. We must learn to observe reality rather than demand that reality change to fit our internal visions.

One silver lining to all this nonsense with Trump and the Supreme Court is that one day it will all be over. They'll have done so much damage to our republic that we'll be forced to rebuild many parts from the ground up, which gives us the opportunity to purge the prejudices of the past.

It’s heartbreaking to see long-term couples always speak to each other in condescending tones. Those couples never seem to understand why they’re not as close as they used to be, why they don’t have sex anymore, why everything seems to be falling apart.
