Update:
The yeast dough has doubled and the onions have halved in volume

Dough is ready to rise.
Cleaning the dishes and my station in the meantime.
Onions are slowly losing volume and gaining colour.

Ingredients yeast dough:
Flour, salt, dry yeast, parsley, chives, water, vegan butter.

Also yes, my counter space is limited.
Assembled on the counter are a jar of flour, a jar of sugar, a packet of dry yeast, a container of salt, a kitchen scale with a metal bowl on it, a opened pack of violife margarine, a measuring cup with water, two packs with fresh herbs

A lot of onions and zero cuts later: going to put the onions on low heat.

While the onions are doing their thing, I am starting my yeast dough.
A pot full of cut onions, and the previous full 2kg bag of onions now only contains 5 onions, also there are a lot of onion peels in a container to the side.

Quick update: I am on onion nr. 5 and I got reminded that I really need to sharpen my knives. Also I am glad that I trained myself to be able to cut onions with closed eyes

Starting on the caramelised onions by cutting a shit ton of onions, fortunately I will not need the whole 2kg bag.
