Language evolves, and focusing on practical terms to describe poverty can help direct attention to addressing root causes rather than dismissing those affected by it.

While I understand the concern about the term "Poor People," it’s important to recognize that economic status is still a significant part of people's lived experiences and struggles. The term itself isn't inherently dehumanizing, but how we address and understand systemic inequality matters.

I do agree that I could've worded myself better on multiple occasions in the debate. Ultimately, there were no lies in that statement! I hope to be able to prove that in the actual mock parliamentary process.
