It’s disturbing, yet fitting that Islamist elements in Yemen would produce propaganda that closely resembles Nazi Der Stürmer propaganda. When you consider the historic relationship between the Islamists and the Nazis much of what drives the wars against Israel becomes clear.

My latest: “Once in power, after spending years manning a machine gun—apparently on behalf of God—and vowing martyrdom to the end, your ability to govern effectively or develop more reflective and rational habits is, predictably, nonexistent.” open.substack.com/pub/sjhyde/p...
Syria, The End of Baathism and The Rise of Islamism
Perhaps al-Jolani will defy the grim precedent, Or, maybe, the cult of resistance—which thrives on perpetual hysteria—will, as it has so often, devour the very adherents who carried it to power

In a culture dominated by decadent leftism, paralyzed by its unwillingness or inability to grasp how jihadists operate, delusion becomes the inevitable. The past year has been nothing but a psychological stress test for the West—a collective experiment in self-deception. Far too many have failed.

Are jihadists really motivated by a sincere belief in martyrdom and Paradise? Interviews with (failed) suicide bombers cut through all the gaslighting on this issue:

Books have been written about what can be found in this image. When entire theological projects rest upon the delegitimization of the Jews to grant themselves legitimacy, its no surprise that Islamic Palestine & the Catholic Church appear to be a match made in heaven—or Paradise.

Imagine an organization releasing a report and redefining a legal term to accuse a state of a crime. Suppose that 2 years later, the same organization released a report, this time redefining a different legal term to indict the same state on that crime. Would you trust this organization?

Given the recent attacks in the West Bank, my article "Hilltop Youth and The Anti-State Hardal: The Anti-Zionist Jews Threatening Israel" explores these movements, their ideology, and their violent behavior. m.jpost.com/opinion/arti...
Hilltop Youth, Hardal: The anti-Zionist Jews threatening Israel - opinion
These fundamentalist Jewish groups twist Jewish tradition into an abominable chimera, mixing biblical literalism, ethno-nationalism, and theological obsessions similar Evangelical Christians.

If in these times, we are looking for hope, we won’t find it in any doomed compromise with religious fanatics on either end of the Sunni/Shia divide, who want to drag humanity back to the 7th century. If we are to find hope, I’ll find it, even dimly, in the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces

Forget what you thought you knew about ME alliances with Shiite Hezbollah & Sunni Hamas during the Israel-Gaza-Lebanon wars. In Syria, Shiite jihadists are clashing with Sunni jihadists. This lays bare how the unity rested on a cosmic hatred for the Jews. Strip away that, & not even Paradise holds.

Yes, its positive to see the Assad-Russia-IRGC-Hezbollah axis lose ground in Aleppo. But to imagine Salafi-jihadists stepping into their place as a sign of progress is a dangerous delusion.

Another day in the demagoguery of “international law,” as the UN fires its Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide for stating that the war in Gaza is not a genocide.

Alice Nderitu said Israel’s campaign in Gaza doesn’t meet the definition of genocide. She was fired.

We need to stop lying or consenting to being lied to about the problem. Oct 7 should have made the connection between Islamist bullying in the West and Jihadi violence in the ME clear. That it didn’t, and instead led to more confusion, is what makes the violence on the streets of Montreal inevitable
