How do Labour, Lib Dems and Greens compete with a cult though? You cannot use rationale and facts. You cannot use empathy. You've got to offer something better. And in Labours case they seem to want to pander to the cultists.

This whole "will of the people" is v frustrating. If it's the will of the people to set fire to hotels housing immigrants, it doesn't make it right. It means that the "people" have been gaslit by the media and grotesque politicians like Nigel Farage!

Listened to the Newsagents last night and (my not being able to tell difference between the accents aside) the people Sopel encountered could have been MAGA supporters, such was their way of thinking, viewing politics/life.
