I’m appalled by the Christian culture in America that say the same tired statements every time after a school or mass shooting, ‘it’s a heart issue.’ You’re damn right it’s a heart issue.

I’m continuing a campaign for parents. It’s dark and troubling but I think it conveys an appropriate seriousness to our ongoing situation with gun violence in schools: it’s posting the most recent photo of your child, one you would share to news media, with the hashtag #intheevent
