Okay, I just finished the game again. Both Chief and the Infinity end up at Earth when the Didact arrives. So Chief leaving didn't even matter? It's also crazy that Del Rio was punished for "abandoning [Chief] on Requiem" when Chief is the one who left. Starting to think Halo 4 wasn't well-written.

Right? There are things they did I agree with, like Chief removing his helmet since he isn't a player surrogate in the TV show. Then you get seemingly random changes like renaming New Alexandria to "Reach City."

Netflix's Witcher and the Monster Hunter movie are in the same exact camp.

It felt like Paramount had a generic sci-fi show mostly-written and slapped the Halo IP on top of it. I really liked Schreiber and the rest of the cast as well. It's clear that there were people involved who really cared about Halo. They deserved better than this.
