So, we had this lovely, sweet little pup (she’s a soft coat wire hair dachshund) stay with us for a week. We couldn’t keep her because L was allergic, but she and Calvin had the best time and we miss her a lot.

My last rescue - from a hoarder house - wedged himself in the corner of our couch and did not move or respond for, essentially, more than a week. He was terrified of everything.
It took months for him to come out of his shell but now he’s now the sweetest, most gentle, loving little dude.
