A $270M conservation agreement is moving forward in the Qikiqtani region of Nunavut — protecting almost 1M sq km of land and water. Huge win for conservation and for local Nauttiqsuqtiit Guardians.

Have always been fascinated by the people that settled and thrive in the most hostile areas of the planet. Loved this piece!

Inuit culture is awe inspiring and would love to visit one day.

To think of the knowledge, mythology and culture that gets shaped in places like this is mind blowing #inuit
Traditions that sustained the Inuits for many generations in some of the world’s most hostile conditions are vanishing along with the ice. Ben Taub reports from the most remote settlement in Greenland. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/2irCnd

Super interesting paper about the work of Colossal bio-sciences and de-extinction of species. I think it's incredible and a testament to human creativity. However, we have an excellent track record of unleashing new/untested technologies upon the world. There's nothing wrong with going slow! #ethics
