I honestly can't blame you at all. Get out while you still can. Haha fingers crossed that you can find a way to emigrate elsewhere. The UK used to be much better than it is now, but it's a shade or two safer than the US at the moment.

Ouch. I remember when I got my guiche (which grew out--twice!) he had to really stretch it for what seemed like several minutes. That was not comfortable, so I feel you.

Mine always seems to stretch on its own, but it stretches a lot faster with a heavy steel ring. The padlock is a good idea, though!
