I posted this on an astral projection group on Facebook and a couple of people said that childhood pneumonia triggered out-of-body experiences for them. It’s so interesting how the body can both trigger and hinder these experiences - something I want to learn much more about.

It was as if my “astral” body was being wiped away in shudders, which reminded me of how my body was breathing at the time (wheezy and some nocturnal breathing interruptions like in sleep apnea). I couldn’t feel my physical body or breathing but it seemed that it affected my experience in other ways
