I rewatched Silver Linings recently and his mom has a Kolb jersey that she wears for at least the first game of the movie. Such a crazy choice!

Broke that rule for myself after the first super bowl. Ended up with a Wentz jersey I'll never touch again. I love J, and I'm ready to be hurt again

Important to note that the Eagles that were playing during the strike were people the Players Union was allowing to play, injured players etc. The Cowboys were scabs. This organization has a great history of standing up to big bullies. Choosing to remember those Eagles today.

We are never going to have a city less dependent on cars if even people who can make the choice, don't want to make the tiny sacrifices required (it takes you 30 minutes to get somewhere instead of 15?? Oh God the humanity!!)

Will you have to do a bit more work to leave the city? Yes. But you also don't have to pay for insurance, don't have to look for parking. And maybe you'll be incentivized to actually enjoy the city you live in on weekends instead of leaving town.

Most frustrating to me was when she says "I grew up in New York, where you can just hail a cab on any street corner instead of calling an Uber".

As someone who lived there for 7 years, unless you live in midtown, no you can't. NYC has to suffer the same Uber/Lyft hellscape as we do

Yes, being car free in Philly is more difficult than having a car, but why are you leaving the city every weekend? Why are you consistently driving your kids an hour away to play sports (no carpools?)

If you are dedicated to having a city depend less on cars, you make it work

I had NYC native friends who had never heard of the NYC blackouts and Son of Sam murders. But I went to SCHOOL (watched VH1)
