The world is an ugly place right now, I'm not going to let it drag me down. When I feel life is getting too heavy I've been painting. I'm still learning, this is #5. And suck it to Mrs. Austin my 3rd grade art teacher who told me not to paint, a husband wouldn't like that. He buys my paint for me.

450+ in my small corner of southeast missouri. The protest started out originally at 15 people last year, 300 plus in June. I think today would have been larger but we are under a severe thunderstorm watch rn.

Not bad I don't think for a beginner! No mistakes just happy accidents and a lot of them but nobody's perfect at first. 1st one with no instruction or picture to go off of

Work in progress, I'm new to painting this will be #3, I expressed interest in painting as a child but my art teacher told me future husbands wouldn't want a wife that paints, she discouraged me. Now my inner child at 42 is going to learn to paint on her own with Bob Ross.

Are we all just baking rn? Heat index at 100 and it's not even noon. You can't breathe outside it's so humid. Europe beats the US in almost all metrics except air conditioning. Stay safe, hopefully you have some way to cool off its dangerous heat.
