Eight more days to see my art at East Lansing Public Library. Taking the place of "Morning Trumpets," "Snowdrops" is now on display. The snowdrops in my yard are in full bloom right now. Happy Spring!

Yesterday, I delivered a memorial portrait of Ms. Mona. She was stunning and full of opinions. Her dad, who passed away years before her, was undoubtedly there to welcome her. The reflection in the reference photo, I imagined, must have been her dad. What an honor to create such a special portrait.

Seven years ago, I was miserable enough to attempt to live life without alcohol for an hour, 2 hours, 12 hours, then a day.
