Vouchers were never meant to help poor families.
In the Phoenix metro area, ProPublica found that the poorer the ZIP code, the fewer school vouchers are being used.

One reason? Only 6 of the county’s 200+ private schools are in areas where families earn less than 50% of the county’s median income.

In a State With School Vouchers for All, Low-Income Families Aren’t Choosing to Use Them
Working-class parents often express interest in vouchers. But in Arizona, the nation’s school choice capital, these families aren’t using them due to the inaccessibility of private schools and the cos...

NC has a law against this. You can't ask candidates about their political beliefs. Conservatives wants to have their cake and eat it too.

I went to high school with Ben. I'm so sad this is happening to him and his family. We were lucky to have him serve our country for so long. I wish he could continue his great work.
"Trans people are some of the most resilient people I've ever met. To ostracize a group of people, ask them to continue to go to work, and then they still go to work and they still perform and they outperform their peers? It's awesome. And I'm so proud of all of them."

Have the weather you voted for??
A National Weather Service office in Kentucky was scrambling to cover the overnight forecast on Friday as severe storms moved through much of the eastern U.S.

The office is one of several left without an overnight forecaster as a result of cuts ordered by the Department of Government Efficiency.

Voter SUPPRESSION in NC.

"Griffin also challenges military and overseas voters who did not provide an ID, even though a specific exemption to the rule was approved for those voters. This category only includes voters from counties that lean heavily Democratic." - News & Observer
NC Court of Appeals gives over 60,000 challenged voters 15 days to prove eligibility
The majority wrote that, even though they have the authority to completely throw out the contested ballots, they decided to instead mandate a cure period for most of the challenged voters.

One of these days we're gonna have to reckon with the fact that "money that I spend which does not directly benefit me is a waste" is a popular sentiment.

I think we should state plainly that this is selfish on its face.

And stupid when you have awareness which extends beyond your nose.

The Trump administration has offered roughly two million government employees the option to resign and receive a payout, a move that could significantly reduce the size of the federal work force.

Here's a look at the plan and its possible implications.

These are some of those voters’ stories.
