Not too shabby, if I say so myself. My first time doing colour work and on a sock, to boot! Many boo-boos (a few “words” were used), it required surgery, and a heel re-do, but I’m quite happy with it.

My favourite thing in this process was watching Arne and Carlos everyday💕

A little project to feel productive. This uses #LibertyFabric and finishes up quite nicely☕️.

It’s my first time using Liberty and I’m quite disappointed with how flimsy it is🫤👎. 5/5 for design, 1/5 for quality and I only give it that since it didn’t melt or rip.

It’s neat when one quilt block can present different layout options.

This is the #OTTMQG October BOM called “Side Stripe”.
Block of the month in two different layouts. One is two large flying geese stacked on each other. The other looked like a large square in a square. These are in green, blue, and white fabrics with a small orange and pink stripe through the white.

I have a languishing UFO, a customized “Chicken Salad” quilt pattern, where I got tremendously frustrated making the feet so I made “chicken shoes” 🐓👢. So much more fun!

I saw these STINKIN’ ADORABLE chicken earrings today and HAD TO GET THEM!! Had to!

An hour and a half later, and we’re done! All I need to do now is make a point of going through each bag and making strips/squares, but that is definitely not urgent.

Assorted fabric goods from a scrap bucket including charms, larger pieces of fabric, and paper pieces precut shapes. It was like a surprise goody bag! Table top of assorted piles of fabric scraps sorted by colour. Many bags of fabric scraps laid out and sorted by colour. The oddball remains after the main fabric scrap sorting. I found large cutoffs, sewing charms, ribbon, binding, and my favourite, used McDonald’s napkins. Sheesh.
