It really feels like these companies just see buying their high end stuff as an indicator that the buyers will be willing to spend more money to buy another relatively soon

I just saw somebody mention that they might be available in the DLC and the online rewards are like an early preview. Notes on the site mention it being rereleased later (though that could also just mean they’ll re-run the seasonal rewards later on)

I feel like they’re probably going to come back around towards gen 10’s release when the game’s wrapping up its online support but still. I guess they really want people to play the multiplayer but I would’ve expected older returning megas to be the rewards instead of new ones being exclusive to it
