In May 2024, I posted elsewhere that P.Oxy. 14 1767 was up for auction, and expressed the hope that it would be rescued and given a home in a public institution. It turns out a generous benefactor heeded the call, and today I got to say hi, in person. x.com/samosafuz/st...

After 5° sunshine on Saturday did away with much of our snow, mother nature restored sanity yesterday by dumping 20 cm of fresh powder. With forecasted highs in the -22° range midweek, let's hope the normal business of winter is here for the duration.
