One of the readings for this week: 4 Steps to Help Build Trust with TV audiences, gives just that after explaining its research. My question for these takeaways is they mention very little about specific news opinions. Should anything changed for specific political news such as FOX? #UWJ201 #305

One of this weeks readings talked about the The Hostile Media Effect, where we perceive coverage as bias against us. One factor I thought may affect this not happening is ideological news sources. These sources paint their bias positively, and people watch the source they prefer. #UWJ201 #305

When reviewing for my exam this week, I came across my notes for ads and what makes them stand out and succeed. We talked about how some companies tie their ads to movement like Cokes successful campaign and Pepsis unsuccessful campaign. What are some other movements ads have used? #UWJ201 #305

This week we learned about the Mean World Syndrome, we learned about how media portrays negative aspects which than makes us think the world is worse than it is. However, for someone who does not cultivate in media or only experiences positive media, would they have an opposite effect? #UWJ201 #305

The article Scoops, Impact or Glory: What Motivates Reporters by Bryon Calame dives into the different level of possible motivations of reporters. Before reading I assumed getting the most popular stories would be the key motivation, however never really considered things like awards. #UWJ201 #305
