As far as I understand it the D+ exclusivity lasts up to one year after broadcast since the 60th specials + Season 1 were available roughly a year and a day after broadcast. I’d expect the second season to come out sometime in early June next year.

I do rather enjoy Meglos nowadays, but I do agree that it would be like 10x better if it was allowed to be the comedy it was written as.

This is basically a play on how Lionheart edited out the B&W episodes of Planet Of The Daleks and Invasion Of The Dinosaurs when the Pertwee’s were sold in the mid 80’s. So imagine making a similar edit to another story, the choice is yours!

If you had to remove one episode from a classic story and have the story still make sense, what would you choose? It doesn’t matter if it has missing episodes or not and you can’t add new material to remaining episodes to make it make sense, you can only edit out references to the removed episode.

Actually if we’re only counting BBC repeats then it seems that Genesis and Sea Devils are tied with 4 repeats each.

Are the uploads on the Classic Who YouTube channel available in Canada? I figure the reason for slowly uploading those there over the past year is in preparation for them leaving Tubi.

I have always wondered where the idea for the pupil sprang from. It’s been wrongfully attributed to the Human Daleks but that’s not necessarily the case. Were they just trying something out that eventually stuck?

I don’t have a copy to see it for myself yet, but from all the artifacts that’ve been posted they really should’ve stuck to the initial process they used on the other Baker seasons. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Those restorations looked good.

As far as I know it’s been used since Season 15 though it seems the most severe in the film sequences for Zygons (at least what we don’t have the actual 16mm of) and Android Invasion.
