100%. Sometimes I think about when I worked at an electronics store in college and we had a whole wall of MP3 players of all different shapes, sizes, designs, and colors. So many choices and cute options! And they basically just don't exist anymore

Interesting! In the central US where I'm at summer break is usually May 20th - August 20th more or less. I think that's part of why I internalized summer being over before Labor Day.

School is still going in Toronto on June 22nd??? Wow that seems late. Schools near me have been out for a month by now. When do kids go back to school, is it not until September?

I hate it because it just makes you feel bad after overcoming a tough situation that should feel triumphant. You survived a tough boss by the skin of your teeth with one person left alive? Well too bad, nobody but that person is getting XP!

I've seen a lot of random info already being posted about E33 and I can't start playing until Friday. Which shouldn't be a big deal, that's *one week* late is all! It shouldn't be hard to not post spoilers for a freaking week or more.

Hard to believe but it's only six weeks on the dot until launch day. An entire week less than the time between Switch 1 preorders to launch day!

My one of these is realizing that the weird stylized symbol at the beginning of the Disney logo is actually just a letter D. I somehow didn't figure that out until I was in college.

He looks like a teenager his mom forced to dress up for an event, so he put on his dress slacks that he hasn't worn in three years that don't fit anymore and he snagged a tie out of his dad's closet

It's almost worth it for the music track, but yeah, I agree. One iffy fight and lore annoyance doesn't tank the DLC by any means but almost literally anything else put there instead would be an improvement

I forgot about Numbers! I used to love that show in the first few seasons when they really went hard with using math in cool ways. Toward the end it felt like it had turned into just another action crime drama and they kinda forgot about that part.

I think as a Souls sicko that isolation and loneliness really spoke to me, yeah. I also thought the plot and characters in Magnolia kinda fell off a little bit in the last 1/3 or so, but it's still a fantastic game

They're so good! You have a favorite? For me, Magnolia has better mechanics, combat, and polish - but Lilies really nails atmosphere, melancholy, and story/tone SO well. Really great ending.

Maybe too soon but it would be *gold* to see a playthrough with Steve or someone who hasn't played it before on your let's play channel

Yeah, the skill basically is entirely in build crafting and knowing how to put all the pieces together and craft the best gear and all that (which is extremely complex and difficult!) - while actually *playing* the game involves almost none.

People got used to the way PoE had become a race to become ludicrously OP and clearing maps in like 15 seconds. The power creep will come later!

I love the world map design and a lot of the ideas, but it also veers into gimmick territory a lot at the expense of platforming and gets too cute

As someone who grew up in the Christian church this is a pretty common refrain. Rarely ever do anything much at all and just kind of trust that things will work out because God is in control, etc.
