Is there a way to enable indenting within a list by just hitting tab?

If we were just less mean to Russia then we wouldn’t need NATO though, apparently.

“Democrats who indulged Ukraine when it could have bargained from a position of strength”

What a disgusting thing to write.

Suggesting that helping a sovereign, democratic nation defend itself in a war of aggression was somehow an indulgence is morally bankrupt.

There are worse bits but:

“many journalists and scholars date the start of the war … to the events that directly preceded Vladimir Putin’s annexation of Crimea in 2014”

Yes! Because that’s when Russia annexed parts of Ukraine by force? Like “people say the war started when Russia did war stuff”?

Finally not to be that guy but you live in Raleigh and DC? It feels like a local perspective is kind of needed if you’re going to engage in this stuff, no?

The worst case scenario is that we try them and it also sucks? We waste some money and move on, or try again.

Best case scenario is we get more choice? Scummy stores like Gristedes are forced to innovate, clean up their act, or shut down?

Overall my feeling is, groceries in the city mostly suck and a lot of people have significant issues with affordability as a result. Some areas have no options or one crappy option (Gristedes where they can get $10 expired milk).

It feels like big actions are needed to help make things better.

The stores that *do* dominate the market and fill in the gaps when taking a cursory look at finding food deserts (“you only need to add two stores!”) are local/regional chains like Key Foods and Gristedes.

Key Foods is *ok* but leans a bit expensive. Gristedes is extortionate and terrible though.

The claim “The idea that there’s a broad “market failure” in the U.S. grocery business is simply ludicrous.” is based on national metrics, and holds up example stores that either don’t exist in NYC (Walmart) or are very few in number and/or require a transit to access (Costco, Aldi).

I think talking about grocery price trends and profit margins *nationwide* is misleading here.

Grocery and dining price increases in NYC have outstripped the national average (April 2025 Comptroller Report).

You can use the log-probabilities of each token to get something like an uncertainty estimate, though calibration is often very poor.

Usually the best option is, for a specific classification task, to evaluate performance on historical data of the output. This doesn’t really work for chats though 😭

That actually looks so good for 1996?
