Yes, I can visualise images and I can day dream but I’d say it’s with a different ‘internal eye’ and so I don’t really think about the VS. Often, when I’m very tired and have my eyes closed, images will just appear ‘from’ the static, which can be both cool and freaky 😬

Oh, it terrified me! And no, they never fully understood it and so I stopped talking about it 😅. I studied Neuropsychology at MSc level and my professor had never even heard of it! 😂 But I’m slowly seeing more about it online which is ‘comforting’.

Fellow visual snow sufferer here. My onset was during childhood, which is more common as you know. It’s really tough to say but any type of trauma could definitely play a part. Such a crazy little syndrome we have 🥸
