Geez… another social media platform?!?

Content and marketing guru making people like school. Father, husband, and doggone it people like me.
I thought the exact same thing. The only more incendiary thing she could’ve said is, “No wonder why his father hated him so much.”

I’m not saying he would be the nominee or if he’s actually looking for it, but it’s not hard to rally around him.

He’s doing a great job building Kelly’s presidential run.

I bought two used Bruce Hornsby vinyl albums from the late 80s for maybe $12 total and I don’t regret it.

I think the GJ testimony is supposed to be released by 12/19. Gonna be a rough couple of weeks wagging the dog.

Roy Butler’s copper birds at Tampa International. They used to be in the main terminal, but were moved to airside A several years back.

My penance is the D-Backs always fall 2 games short of the playoffs every year since! 🤣

Amazingly I’m on this track! All books queued up, with a few sports bios wedged in between to keep my sanity intact.

I’m reading Nixonland right now, and I do believe Mr. Perlstein had (unknowingly?) nailed the coming of Trump with his observations on the rise of Nixon in the Nixon vs. the liberal elite scenes of 1952.

I’m definitely not saying it’ll be sunshine & roses if/when she wins some sort of control, but she’s saying what every other R won’t publicly say because she sees a chance (and because 47 stiffed her senate dreams).

Rs can’t win the shutdown + Epstein. She’s choosing the side sensible people go to.

Sheff is overdue, although his surliness in Milwaukee and playing on some average Padres teams won’t help him.

Correct. In 10-20 years there may be a spectacular step up from AI 1.0, but the tech bros’ notion that we’re all going to quit our jobs and move to a peaceful neighborhood on Mars next year is just beyond ridiculous.
October 31, 2025 at 10:37 PM
This is where it was always going to go: When the dust settles, consumers and most corporations will use the cheapest AI system that merely “gets the job done”.

It likely will come from China, and the billions of dollars being set on fire by American tech bros will be all for naught.

I love how Cissy Houston changed the lyrics of the mode of transportation and destination (from the FT in 2017):

I’ve only been there for two Brewers games, definitely want an extended visit some day.

Hats off to your marketing team. I will be sharing this as a smart advertisement that meets the moment in my marketing classes!

His brother Gary was the band’s first manager. He not only had the stutter, but the line “you need to get educated, go to school” is something that apparently Gary used to say.

“You see? No shock. No... engulfment. No tearing asunder. What you feared would come like an explosion, is like a whisper. What you thought was the end, the beginning.”

My wife and I took the verrrrry long walk from terminal D to C on a connector out of Canada while coming home from our honeymoon. It was a unique terminal to say the least.

Passed through there in September 2009. Such a funky airport, I wish they could have kept it around. Definitely straight out of the 60s.

Got a chance to visit there before flying out a few weeks ago. What a great building.

This was right after it opened. Hotel near the ATC on the left is still very much under construction.

My father was an engineer for a construction company based at TIA from 86-94. The walk to an airside is nice this time of year, but unpleasant and impractical the other 8 months of the year with humidity and storms. The design key was to get someone from gate to parking in 15 minutes (w/ no bags).

We’re entering our final 2 weeks of the semester with final projects due Sunday. I’m awaiting the usual “how can I get my grade up?” Emails.

Adjunct here. I explain in a week one video that the school designed the curriculum to where if the student shows up, participates, and fully completes assignments on time, the absolute worst you can do is a B-. Every semester I have 5-6 students who are always under that bar from start to finish.
