Obviously. I didn't say in the post, but sometimes when people speak and say "oh, you're guaranteed something" it's just praise and not to be taken literally. I didn't hear the convo, you did. Was the intonation really an actual guarantee and surety? Or just praise and just puffing up someone's ego?

What movie was it? None of those directors and movies of them appear to be guarantees. The only one to be made in an argument I would say is the Bob Dylan biopic. The rest of them really needed a push to get public support. Emilia Perez could lean on activism support, but it's still a niche market.
