I had the privilege to go visit The Stanley (aka The Shining hotel) in Estes Park, Colorado last week, and then I rewatched The Shining (1980). Now I'm reading the book for the first time and it's sooo good!

Feeling uniquely connected to this story as I'm reading it.

Trying to enjoy this unprecedented snow in the South but I hate the cold, and WFH with 2 kids who have schoolwork is stressful as hell. Add in a burst pipe and well...😬

This time of year is rough. Holding up against apathy and trying not to give up on the things I know are important.

My husband and I moved into a new house in January that has a greenhouse full of papaya trees. There are also quite a few other fruit bearing trees on the property (oranges, satsumas, loquats, figs, peaches, and pecans). We have both taken a crash course on gardening this year 😂
