I do this kind of job on a regular basis, and you are never in a position where the negotiating text is anywhere near one of the delegates.
If there is any query with a delegate, you go in person, with an officer to keep a record, and then you go back and make the changes yourself.

First meeting of the Armed Forces Partnership in Oldham for six months today. After a lot of chasing for a meeting, it coincidentally was called just at the same time that the administration wanted to amend a motion to say that it held regular meetings.
