Working on a growth chart for my wife’s bday, made out of white oak. I made a jig from random scraps to get straight consistent lines with my router.

Making jigs is one of the most satisfying parts of woodworking

Great find at the lumber yard today 😍 figured sapele for a great price. I don’t have a project in mind, what should I make with it? I might make a serving board for my sister for Christmas but would still have 2/3 of the board left

So tonight I discovered I can directly access route model bindings inside a FormRequest, but it feels sort of icky since the FormRequest doesn't necessarily *know* it's being called from a route that has the model bound.

what do you do in this situation? 🤔

This is the first time I've ever seen a captcha that required me to click every square

@ianlandsman.com small feedback, it felt off to sign up at outro.fm and receive “Sign up for Userscape” in the email with no mentions of Outro or Mostly Technical anywhere

Flew to Greece last night 🇬🇷 first flight since I got these earbuds which let you plug the case into a headphone jack for an instant wireless connection. So I can watch the built in screen with noise cancelling earbuds. Such a great idea

I haven't dabbled too much with MCP yet, but mcpilot.ai from bradenkeith@x made it super easy to set up and play with. Curious how I can use this in my day to day life, programming and otherwise. Also ⭐632 on Github noice

Lots of careful clamping to make sure these pocket holes aren’t walking all over the place

Our oven was spewing gas every time we used it so we had to replace it. We decided to take the plunge and go with induction. It’s good! Definitely an adjustment at first, still figuring out scrambled eggs haha

Over the past few days I've been cooking up an *awesome* productivity set up for MacOS. Full video coming on YouTube soon, but any guesses based on this? 👀

To add a function hello_sam to PHP, I created a hello_sam extension in the ext folder. I used AI to help me out with writing the actual extension and which commands to run to build it, just to see it work. And it does!
