I love Steven Moffat's 'timey wimey' take on Dickens's ghosts, the magical direction – and the flying shark!

But it's the unabashed sentimentalism about childhood, age & regret that makes 'A Christmas Carol' my favourite of all the DOCTOR WHO Christmas specials.
