💡 Why it matters:

CEUS could provide real-time, objective assessment during NMP—supporting viability decisions at organ assessment and reconditioning centres (ARCs)

❗️But validation in transplanted kidneys is still needed

🔑 Key findings from porcine and human kidney models:
1️⃣ Microvascular perfusion at 2h correlated with markers of injury
2️⃣ Total renal blood flow did not
3️⃣ CEUS is safe, non-toxic, & potentially bedside-friendly
