I’ve been in the HIV education field for 18 yrs. Now I’m looking for a job due to grant cuts. I work on social determinants of health, stigma, access to care for underserved groups etc. I chaired the DEI committee to make sure we practice what we preach. My whole career gone in the blink of an eye.

After a HUGE cut to the federally funded HIV Education Program I’ve worked at for almost 18 years, my position can no longer be supported. (I’m in Colorado)

I'm in CD8. I can not in good conscience support Caraveo in the Primary. Her first term was dissapointing to say the least. She was basically inaccessible to constituents amongst many other concerns I have about her.

If only there were people fleeing places and trying desperately to get into those wealthy countries. That would just be far too simple an idea.

Horrifically, I don’t believe they see anyone who is brown or an immigrant as a person.

I flew back from Europe 2 weeks ago. There were so few people going through the non-citizen passport line that it cleared way before the citizen line. They opened it up to citizens to get that line cleared faster. I have NEVER seen the non-citizen line cleared first.

I was on a flight from Europe yesterday. There were very very few people on the flight who had to go through the non-citizen line when we landed in the US. It actually cleared faster than the citizen line. I’ve never seen that be the case before.

Many have very specific medical uses. We say men who have sex with men, because there are men married to women, who don’t identify as gay, but still on occasion have sex with men. Which is a risk factor for HIV. “Are you gay?” - no, “Have you had sex with a man?” - yes. You will miss risks. Idiotic

We need a daily opposition press briefing delivered by someone who can explain how Republicans screwed us over that day, and how to fight back. And it better not be delivered by Jeffries or Schumer who couldn’t motivate someone out of a wet paper bag. Buttigieg comes to mind.

I’m a loyal blue voter and he failed to convince me that they are up to the task at hand. If I can’t be convinced, how on earth are they going to convince the average middle of the road swing voter?

That looks like a pretty standard South African school uniform to be honest. Either gray, khaki, or navy shorts, with a usually white shirt (could also be pale blue, pale yellow, pale green).
