my mantra this evening is that getting feedback from sensitivity readers means that I am being TAUGHT, not scolded #amwriting

me, putting together material from the MS for a sensitivity read on Deafness: oh man I hope I get a good grade in [being sensitivity-read], something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve #amwriting

It's likely a grass-is-greener thing, but as a writer who overwrites and then has to cut, I've always wished I could instead be someone who underwrites and then has to (gets to) add more. #amwriting

So I'm having baby's first novel beta-read while outlining baby's second (the baby is me) & everyone who's looking at is at the very least a mutual online. 0 strangers, which is likely a problem. But. Real question, how do I know a stranger wouldn't just feed it to AI for easy feedback? #amwriting
