They *say* it's a gigantic pile of US Treasuries, please pay no attention to the lack of an audit (not that others are better) or their conviction for lying about exactly this in the past. Arguably printing money is even more incredible, particularly when you can get away with it for this long.

Everything I've read about him gives off big 'wannabe Labour Right apparatchik' vibes, so potentially he'd be even happier if he was the American Morgan McSweeney, alas for him that's an impossible dream because American political parties do not and cannot work that way.

Eyup Lovely as an example of using Twitter as intended by Musk: Constantly maximum-trolling a shithole. Amusing for some, but definitely not *good*. Dramatic 'return' more likely than not (did that for Easter I think, you get the idea)
