13/5/1649 - Scott 'denyed that he had casten the timber into [the] Edden.' The session wasn't convinced and told him to come back once they'd discussed the case further. He returned on 27/5 and 'acknowledged his faulte & was to come before the pulpet' and pay 6sh 8d. 2/2.
