Seattle-area human: technologist, educator, developer, musician, composer (PhD), kittydaddy, doggydaddy, husband, and many other things. Ex-Microsoft, once a music professor, grew up in Alabama but seems to have emerged OK.
We do not have that kind of curious incident at my house. This is the norm.

@janewiedlin.bsky.social I am prepping to convince the band I just joined to play "Turn To You", and noticed this great tiny moment from you in the video.

Disclaimer: If your Jane Crush lasts longer than 40 years, this is an emergency and requires immediate musical attention.

Baseball these days is a representation of modern American life, where expertise is devalued and brute force reigns. There’s also narcissistic focus on individual achievement. All in pursuit of money and power.

Someone should show him this map and ask explicitly how all of this imaginary water traverses *across* the Columbia River basin, and the mountain ranges that define the basin, without becoming part of that drainage. And if not him, ask his toadies. Make them own being fools spewing nonsense.

His skin tone is closer to Oompa Loompas than Wonka. Now I’m wondering: were Oompa Loompas DEI hires? Is that why bad things kept happening to those children?

Indescribable tragedy when we lost our little dog Mavis Pancakes to liver failure on Saturday night. The exact cause will never be known. Mavis was 5 1/2 years old.

Mavis joined us in August 2020. Mavis was exuberant, and we gave her a great life. There is a giant hole in our lives and our hearts.
