fell asleep after i clocked out and ate dinner. just woke up again and now every single joint, muscle and bone in my body is screaming in pain. i’ve never felt anything like this before, it’s fucking awful and i don’t know what to do.

they’re doing work on the roof this week which is all well and fine, but why is this man stomping around up there like he’s in a mosh pit? you’d think on a roof you’d use a slightly gentler footstep. if he comes crashing through my ceiling i’m going to be so pissed.

just finished assembling and frosting a cake at 2:30 in the morning, as one does. i used the strawberry preserves i made yesterday between the layers. is it my prettiest work? not at all, i rushed it a bit. is it delicious? absolutely.

let’s take a moment to appreciate the creature’s reaction to elizabeth’s death. the obvious choice would be to have him howl with rage and grief when she dies. instead, gdt keeps this moment quiet, soft. even in his grief, the creature can only be gentle where she is concerned

i greatly enjoy my solitude these days. it takes a lot to coax me from my lair. tonight was worth it and i’m glad that i went. it reminded me that, in the right company, i do actually enjoy time spent with friends. i did decline any after parties though. quite happy to be home.
