I'd suggest checking out fire.airnow.gov, which shows a map of near real time measurements from both consumer grade sensors and federal monitors primarily in US and Canada.

It's important to note that air quality varies at local and hyper-local scales due to local emission sources, meteorology, topography, etc. so these interpolations do a poor job of capturing such spatial variability.

These maps are likely interpolating both consumer-grade air quality sensor data alongside federal reference monitors, which are the gold standard of air quality measurements but less common in numbers.

Boy, the Ares V with 12m fairing would have truly been something to behold. Thank you for making these sets, I spent many hours as a kid pouring over the renderings and details of the ambitious constellation program, so it will always have a special place in my heart!

I noticed this radar signature to the northwest of Puerto Rico around the time of reentry.. it seems to be more southerly than your track so it may very well be nothing but nonetheless thought it might be interesting
