In his Davos speech, Trump quoted A Fish Called Wanda ("if it weren't for us, you'd all be speaking German"). Just seen this poster on the Rome metro (strapline: "the end of the world is only the beginning"). Could it be that Trump's foreign policy is mainly based on films? @rory-stewart.bsky.social

@rory-stewart.bsky.social listening to the episode recording yesterday, in which you say "today Greenland, tomorrow...Iceland?". Trump used the word Iceland several times in his Davos speech today. Did he mean "Greenland", or was it a Freudian slip?!
