I’m left with a lot of “OK, but why?” moments. Maybe they’re trying covert iPad kids into Mac adults. Maybe they actually believe Mac will be competitive for gaming (this time for real) as handhelds get more popular.

I was kind of interested in the Air until I saw that it’s only USB 2. Most of its other drawbacks aren’t a big deal for me, but 480Mbps for file transfer is not adequate.

Cool. One of my friends is using the Deck like console he can take on a plane. If you’re not too wrapped up in the world of frame rates and resolutions, it’s a pretty solid console alternative. Don’t forget, you can also get the Steam Link app on android TV, Apple TV, etc and stream from desktop.

Keep an eye on the refurbished Decks. I got a solid deal on an OLED model and it’s as good as new. That being said, I’m probably grabbing a Switch 2 at launch. MK8 was one of my favorite games.

I always thought Super Paper Mario was a bit underrated. The 2D/3D thing isn’t great, but still fun. Thousand Year Door was just a hard act to follow I think.
