had a great time at the Divergent Minds in the Archive Workshop today at Liverpool Central Library. Some really productive conversations about barriers for neurodiversity in using or working with archives - and conversations with really lovely people as well!

I was absolutely delighted to be awarded the Paula Cox Public History Award at the @socialhistsoc.bsky.social conference a few weeks ago. I received this award for my work on @paraheritage.bsky.social ‘Story of the Games’ exhibition.

Had a great day running tech for the @ukdishisthub.bsky.social 2025 Connecting and Sharing event today.

I feel very lucky to be able to learn about so many great projects, research and people working in this field - the Hub is a small part of a rich landscape of exciting work.

Great day at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery for the @museumsassociation.org communities and collections network.

Great to connect with colleagues and share @paraheritage.bsky.social’s work.

Really enjoyed the Made in Birmingham and Elephant in the Room displays - worth a visit!

Had a great time at the @museumsassociation.org Designing Great Exhibitions conference today.

These events are important opportunities to network and learn from the amazing exhibitions being put on from other museums.

It was a pleasure to present on a panel with Hannah Zaves-Greene and Marco Di Guilo at the @jewishstudies.bsky.social conference this evening. Wonderful to be having conversations about disability in the Jewish Studies space!

Like that, the Glasgow chapter of my life has ended! Graduated today, a year after I handed in my thesis, and just over 5 years since the PhD started.

Couldn’t have done it without my wonderful wife, family, friends, supervisors, colleagues, and interviewees.

Wonderful to attend the opening of ‘Invisible Cabaret’ at Aylesbury Waterside.

This gallery brings together 5
disabled artists who drew on the collections of the National Disability Arts Collection & Archive, and the National Paralympic Heritage Trust.

I’m delighted to say I passed my viva yesterday afternoon with minor corrections!

Thanks to my internal examiner Phillippa Wiseman and external Brett Smith for a thought provoking and challenging conversation!
