I'm not so sure - his comment highlights the discrepancy between the government welcoming Yaxley-Lennon and the football club rejecting his involvement, and then says 'riddle me that'. That suggests he doesn't understand that the Israeli government and Maccabi Tel Aviv are different.

These kind of stories might get a lot of clicks, but they're harmful for people with health anxiety, and make it more difficult for people to really promote their own health by emphasising remote risks at the expense of more common ones.
