I work in a middle school classroom, here’s what happened today:
kid: Teacher Sam, what are you doing?
Me: Hi bud, I’m finishing up my lun-
Kid: No one asked!
Me: Actually, you just asked.
Kid: *silently trying to process that the attempted burn didn’t land*
