As a kid, the thought never occurred to me that my adult self would willingly make Brussels sprouts for a holiday. Since the 90's, farmers and scientists have GMO'ed sprouts to be less bitter. They're now a staple at Thanksgiving.

Accidentally overheated the molasses sauce I was working on for a cake. I poured the sauce onto a parchment paper-lined tray and sprinkled flaky salt on it. I now have a sheet of tasty molasses caramel candies. 😁
