Big day for the new German Centre for Astrophysics, evaluation process with the ministry (to end the official “start up phase”) & we have a new logo! Such a pleasure to be in beautiful Görlitz & to contribute to building up this this amazing centre with 1000 people. Some photos of trip yday & today

Proud that our 8 yr old son & his friends decided to spend #koningsdaag selling their toys & books for @savethechildren to send funds to their fellow children in Gaza. It was a beautiful day and moving to meet so many wonderful people in Amsterdam. 🙏🏾

What a wonderful few days visiting & honour giving the joint Institute for Advanced Study & Princeton U. astrophysics colloquium. A highlight was getting to say thank you & to see Neta Bahcall at Bahcall lunch, who is responsible for me learning & working on gravitational waves ..

Interesting & lovely two days @ASTRON as part of scientific advisory committee. Thanks so much for making it possible to pump milk etc in such a beautiful & serene setting looking onto Dwingeloo telescope, it makes all the difference as a sleep deprived mum still breastfeeding 🙏🏾💐
